Art Basel Miami Rebrand

Art Basel’s current brand identity is very simple and sleek. Why not give it a total revamp that screams “Miami?”

Made for my Art Direction course, I was tasked with designing a unique identity for a festival of my choice.

Art Basel is a yearly international contemporary art fair known for highlighting emerging artists and showcasing a diverse range of art forms. It is a major art world destination, trade show, and cultural festival known for its high-profile art trading.

This theme is inspired by the unique colors of Miami, as well as the buzzing atmosphere of the event itself. They constantly strive to be at the pulse of what is new in the art world, so it felt natural for the branding to reflect that.
